Hawkeye Drone Concept

The focus of this project was to provide an edgy promotional video for the client, showcasing the drone in a modern style to match its alternative look and design. We were to highlight the key features and parts that made up the design whilst showcasing the stylistic/aesthetic aspects of the design. Additionally, we were to produce a full-length showreel along with short social media clips to support the animation.

We began the project by understanding the design and analysing the key features and design points we wanted to get across. From this we looked to create a storyboard to pass on to our animation team, utilising the 3D data we created an accurate representation of angles, lighting, and camera positions to ensure our vision is correctly captured. We established a constant feedback conversation with the client providing regular updates and snippets of test animations to ensure the vision was captured and changes could be highlighted early. With the use of Maya, we were able to generate a high-quality animation to the client’s standards and were able to offer a soundtrack package containing a unique and custom soundscape to accompany the video. This extra service and the trait of going above and beyond our client’s expectations is something we strive for, and achieve, in all our projects.
